LOS ANGELES – Chair Hilda L. Solis released the following statement after the Board of Supervisors approved her motion to establish an $80,000 reward offer in the shooting deaths of Jesus Antonio Avalos, Eduardo Robles, and Amanda Nicole Lopez in East Los Angeles:
“The lives of Jesus “Jesse” Avalos, Eduardo “Eddie” Robles and Amanda Nicole Lopez were unjustly and senselessly taken by gun violence in East Los Angeles.
While the County continues to make investments in community prevention strategies to address community trauma and violence, we are also counting on residents to help us bring accountability to the perpetrators of these heinous crimes.
That is why my office has committed to a substantial reward of $80,000 in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) who committed these crimes.
If the public has any information about this case or those responsible, we urge them to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.”
The passage of this motion establishes an $80,000.00 reward in exchange for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) responsible for the heinous deaths of Jesus Antonio Avalos, Eduardo Robles, and Amanda Nicole Lopez.
