Supporting permanent solutions for the housing crisis

Since joining the Board of Supervisors, I have fought to address the growing numbers of Angelenos that are living on our streets. This is why I have prioritized initiatives to increase permanent and interim housing for people experiencing homelessness, enhance tenant protections, and increase affordable housing to prevent Angelenos from falling into homelessness. I have also worked to bring more resources to smaller cities in the First District to augment our regional homeless rehousing system and ensure that cities have the resources to serve their unhoused residents.
