Justice Reimagined

Ensuring public safety while reforming justice systems

Public safety comes in the form of equitable access to housing, employment, medical and mental health care, and safety net services and resources. Los Angeles County has an obligation to ensure this accessibility to maintain a safe, just, humane, and dignified way of life and work for our over 10 million residents. As Supervisor, I have made a commitment to transform and reform long-standing systems that have overburdened our communities of color and vulnerable Angelenos to find healthy alternatives instead of status quo options that criminalize and penalize.
