Bassett, CA – Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis awarded $20,000 today in First District Community Grants Program funding to Bassett Unified School District for scholarships to students pursuing higher education, as well as 40 laptops worth $19,440.

Since the beginning of the year, Supervisor Solis has awarded over $17.5 million in grant funding to non-profit organizations and schools in the First District.
